EBI Computer System Security and Infrastructure

EBI performs nightly, monthly and annual tape backups of all critical systems. Our servers are monitored for 24-hour availability with immediate technician notification should an issue arise.

EBI web and database servers are located 85 feet underground in Springfield, MO and are monitored by a guard 24 hours a day with motion sensor cameras located throughout the facility.

The power supply is run through UPS power conditioners to provide clean, continuous power. Independent, on-site, diesel generators guarantee unlimited, continuous power when a loss of external power occurs. This is one of only three facilities in the United States to provide the highest levels of secure and redundant backup protection for computer operations.
