Fraternity and Sorority National Chapter Assessments

EBI began the National Fraternity/Sorority Life Assessments in 1999. We have surveyed over 59,000 combined sorority and fraternity members nationwide at over 850 chapters. Separate fraternity and sorority assessments are available.

Some areas addressed in our fraternity and sorority assessments include:

  • Ideals and Policies of the Fraternity/Sorority
  • Adherence to Alcohol and Drug Policies
  • Interpersonal Relationships and Conflict Resolution
  • Academic Standards and Study Habits
  • Consequences of Alcohol and Drug Use/Abuse
  • Communication Skills and Leadership
  • Respecting Diversity
  • Elements Negatively Impacting the Quality of Life
  • Initiation Process Positive and Functional
  • Effective Programming
  • Advice and Support
  • National and International Services and Policies
  • Study Opportunities and Facilities
  • Maintenance/Management
  • Dining Services
  • Involvement After Graduation
  • Overall Program Effectiveness

The EBI analysis includes two types of reports. Upper Level Summary Reports which give the reader a high level view of the performance of their institution and Lower Level Detail Reports which dig into the data to pinpoint details.

Gender, ethnicity, and other demographic variables are included in the analysis so you can determine the degree to which intervention strategies may need to differ.

Explanation and Examples of Upper Level Summary and Lower Level Detail Reports.
