AACN/EBI Master's Level Nursing Exit Assessment
Based on client demand from the nursing education profession, EBI has developed the MSN Exit Assessment. The Nurse Practitioner exit assessment is still available as a branch of this assessment.
The MSN assessment was developed with guidance from AACN and is based on the Essentials for Baccalaureate and Master's Education for Nursing Practice to ensure the focus was on the critical components of a master's level program. Now you can capture the valuable feedback your graduating students can provide regarding their educational experience while in your Nursing Program. Here some areas that are addressed in the Master's Level Exit Assessment:
- Quality of Faculty and Instruction
- Quality and Availability of Curriculum
- Administration and Academic Advising
- Quality of Support Services
- Learning Outcomes from Core Masters: Role Development, Core Knowledge,
Financial Aspects of Health Care,
Research Aspects
- Learning Outcomes from Didactic/Clinical: Advanced Health Assessment, Differentiation of Findings,
Acute and Chronic Conditions,
Prescription Drugs,
Patient Care,
Course Work,
Clinical Laboratory Procedures,
Clinical Epidemiological Principles
- Overall Program Effectiveness
The AACN/EBI Master's Level Nursing Exit Assessment includes powerful comparative analysis. You receive three levels of benchmarking; a comparison to six self-selected peers, to all participants and to schools in your Carnegie classification. This analysis allows you to calibrate current performance, set goals and identify successes.
The EBI analysis includes two types of reports. Upper Level Summary Reports which give the reader a high level view of the performance of their institution and Lower Level Detail Reports which dig into the data to pinpoint details.
Gender, ethnicity, and other demographic variables are included in the analysis so you can determine the degree to which intervention strategies may need to differ.
Explanation and Examples of Upper Level Summary and Lower Level Detail Reports.
