ACUI/EBI College Union/Student Center Assessment

The Association for College Unions International (ACUI), in partnership with EBI, has created the ACUI/EBI College Union/Student Center Assessment. Our union visitor and non-visitor assessments provide administrators with a very clear sense of student perceptions about their union experience. Results can be effectively utilized to focus attention on strengths and areas in need of improvement.

Some areas addressed in our union visitor assessment include: Publicity of the Union and Campus Does the College Union have a Positive Environment? Is the College Union Student Oriented? Is the College Union a Source of Entertainment? Does the College Union Enhance Life and Leadership? Union Food Variety, Quality, and Price Aspects of Dining Service Bookstore Staff Bookstore Items Variety and Price Union Cleanliness Union Staff Overall Program Effectiveness

The EBI analysis includes two types of reports. Upper Level Summary Reports which give the reader a high level view of the performance of their institution and Lower Level Detail Reports which dig into the data to pinpoint details.

Gender, ethnicity, and other demographic variables are included in the analysis so you can determine the degree to which intervention strategies may need to differ.

Use the Web-Enabled Survey System (WESS) to administer your ACUI/EBI College Union/Student Center Assessment and you will receive a FREE Non-Visitor Assessment.

The Non-Visitor Assessment finds out why students do not use the Union by asking questions regarding:

• activities
• organizations
• eating establishments
• bookstores and more

The results of the non-visitor assessment are only available online.
