ACUHO-I presented the Outstanding Corporate Friend Award to Dr. Joseph A. Pica during the 2011 Annual Conference Exposition in New Orleans, Louisiana, July 9-12. Pica, CEO of Educational Benchmarking, Inc. (EBI), was presented with the Outstanding Corporate Friend Award based on his continued contributions to ACUHO-I and the housing profession. Dr. Pica has shown a sincere interest in ACUHO-I beyond a profit motive, and helped sponsor events, contributed to the Foundation, became sustaining affiliate member, and offered valuable insights and feedback on the direction of ACUHO-I and its activities.
To be considered, honorees are nominated by peer nomination, must meet certain criteria for each award, and are nominated based on their talents and continued contributions to better the collegiate housing profession.
